Hi guys! Happy Friday! So today I'm sharing some hairstyles I've been doing a lot for the summer. These hairstyles are great because most of them are up dos and if you live somewhere hot like me, you'll enjoy these. I apologize if it is hard to understand these but I tried to go step by step so you can do the hairstyles. If you have any questions about them please feel free to contact me using the form on the home page. Hope ya'll enjoy these hairstyles!
So the first hairstyle is what I like to call the Jasmine hairstyle. You can style this look with straight or curly hair! Start this hairstyle by parting your hair with a side part. Then section off the top part of your hair from the bottom part and tie with a clear elastic. Now that you have done that repeat this process by going down about an inch at a time and tie with clear elastics. Now that you have the sections of hair tied up go to all the sections and pull on them to make them appear bigger. I have medium length hair so I only need 5 elastics but depending on how long or short you hair is make sure you know how many elastics you need!
The second hairstyle is a twist braid! This is super simple for the summer but the twist adds a lot of flair to make it unique. Start by simply parting your hair wherever you usually part it. I part my hair on the left but whatever you like will work! Once you have your hair parted, take it to the right side of your head and create a side ponytail securing it with a clear elastic. Now that you have a side ponytail simply go about an inch down and tie it with a clear elastic. This style is similar to the first but when you have that one inch section secured pull the section apart and flip the rest of the hair through and if it has a strange hole in it push the elastic up to close it. Repeat that step until you've reached the end of your hair. Now pull on your sections to make it look bigger and add a more messy look to it!
The third hairstyle is so simple and easy! Just part your hair where you like and split your hair down the middle so you have a section on the right and a section on the left. Now braid one section of hair and secure with a clear elastic. If you don't know how to braid don't worry! To braid start by splitting your hair section into 3 pieces. Take the outer piece and cross over the middle and continue to alternate the outside pieces over the middle. After you've completed your braid on both sides, tie off when you get to the end. Pull on the braid to make it messy and bigger.
The fourth hairstyle is a low messy bun. Sometimes it can be so hot I just need my hair to be off my neck but I still want to have a cute hairstyle. I am obsessed with low buns now because they are so simple. Start by parting your hair and putting it to the height you would do a low ponytail. When you have all you hair gathered at the bottom twist your hair clockwise. After that create a small bun and wrap the remaining hair underneath that small bun. Secure it with whatever hair tie you like to use and holds your hair well. Now just pull at it to make it messy and big. If you need to you can bobby pin the top to secure it so it won't go anywhere.
The fifth and final hairstyle is a ponytail with a hair bandanna tied around it. Start by pulling hair into a ponytail and securing it with however many hair ties you need. Make sure the ponytail is not messy. Then take a hair bandanna and tie around the ponytail covering the hair tie. Make sure you tie it at the top not the bottom. If you don't have a bandanna go check out my Blooming with fashion post to get a link to find them! Optional step: Pull 2 hairs from the front and add volume to the ponytail.
I hope you guys enjoyed these hairstyles and I hope they were helpful! Make sure to subscribe if you're not already and look out for Mondays post! Xoxo
